CTM

As a matter of principle, staggered or isolated working hours outside the unit’s normal working hours are prohibited. Such work must be exceptional and, as far as possible, devoted to non-risky tasks (writing, calculations, bibliographical research, etc.). In all cases, it must be carried out with the express agreement of the unit director.

Normal laboratory opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Staff authorized to come in on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays to carry out authorized activities must obtain, via this form, the prior written, nominal and time-limited agreement of the unit manager. When certain laboratory activities require work to be carried out at weekends or on public holidays, only statutory or contract staff (PhD students, researchers, engineers, technicians) may be authorized to carry out the work in exceptional circumstances. Trainees at any level are never authorized to work shifts.

    Condition of isolation (*)

Anyone who works outside working hours is considered to be a lone worker, regardless of the nature and duration of the activity.
Similarly, any person is considered a worker as isolated when he is out of sight or out of earshot of others for a period of more than one hour no matter the workplace. However, for dangerous work, a single worker should'nt be alone for more than a few minutes.
